“Just being the frontman, or whatever you want to call it, is a totally different sensation on stage. I like confronting things I’m scared about, so it’ll be fun to go out on the road and be nervous before shows. I had plenty of nervousness about it, but actually getting up there, I felt less nervous than I thought. Still, you look out and the audience is staring at you. I was like, “I guess I know what this feels like now.””

Check out “Be Around” a reworked version of a track left off Dreams Come True. Chris Taylor gave Dossier Journal for the launch of the latest issue. Taylor describes the track as, “Something I was working with for the album that didn’t fit, so I completely deconstructed it and put a whole new thing around it. Its fun—it was actually randomly the first thing George and I started working on when I started the album.”

I thought of a corny pick-up line that I would never say, but I thought it was funny, so let’s not waste it: ‘If Home Depot made a calendar, you’d be miss August, because you are hotter than July.’ I’m not good at hitting on girls. But this line makes me laugh.”
